When it comes to her Cannes Film Festival style, Demi Moore says the more the merrier. A hot-pink decaying gown? Colorful Jacquemus polka dots? A custom Gucci look inspired by a Tom Ford Gucci micro dress she wore back in 2003? Yes, yes, and yes.

She has, of course, been doing this for years. Nearly three decades ago, the star made her Cannes debut for the opening night premiere of The Fifth Element (1997), which starred her then-husband, Bruce Willis. She may have attended the festival as a plus one, but she stole the show on the red carpet, wearing a classic black belted dress, a red-and-black floral coat with voluminous puff sleeves, and the most decadent diamond-and-ruby jewelry.

When Moore returned in 2024, it was for The Substance, the Oscar-winning body horror film she starred in alongside Margaret Qualley. Here, she walked the carpet in a handful of gowns, from a red beaded Giorgio Armani Privé column dress to a custom Celine number, designed in black and white with a strapless neckline, oversize bow, and thigh-high slit.

This year, she came back as a jury member, and took her style even further. “Cannes is not just a festival—it is a conversation between art and humanity that has been happening for nearly eight decades,” the actor shared after arriving in the French Riviera. “To be invited into that conversation as a jury member is an honor and privilege. Grateful to stand alongside my fellow jury members at this year’s Opening Ceremony.”
