Justin Baldoni marked his 42nd birthday on Saturday, Jan. 24
His mom and dad shared tributes on Instagram, referencing "difficult times" and "a year full of turmoil and injustice"
Blake Lively sued costar Baldoni in December 2024, and the trial is set for May 2026
Justin Baldoni's parents marked his birthday with social media tributes referencing his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively.
The actor turned 42 on Saturday, Jan. 24, and his mother Sharon posted a message on Instagram thanking her son's fans for supporting him.
"I never imagined I would see the words 'Justice for Justin' from people all over the world, in support of my son," she wrote, in part. "I thank you all, from the depth of my soul to those who have championed him to this point in these difficult times."
Baldoni's father Sam also shared a birthday message to his son on Instagram, posting a throwback photo of Baldoni as a baby.
"This little guy filled our home with such joy all those years ago and to this day his presence lights up not only our lives but all those around him," wrote Sam. "I am so proud of my son for the man he has become and how he never stops learning about life, about love, about family and friendship, and about how to show up for the people he cares about most."

He praised Baldoni for his "continual dedication to his family and his love and admiration for his truly perfect partner Emily." Baldoni married wife Emily in 2013; they share two kids, Maiya, 10, and Maxwell, 8.
"Son, In a year full of turmoil and injustice you have remained steadfast in your faith knowing that truth and justice will prevail!" wrote Sam. "Happy Birthday Son, I love you with all my heart and soul."

Baldoni was sued by his It Ends With Us costar Lively, 38, in December 2024, and he denies her allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. His defamation and extortion countersuit against the actress has been dismissed by the judge.
Baldoni last posted on Instagram in July to commemorate his wedding anniversary. His attorney Bryan Freedman told TMZ in June 2025 that Baldoni "wants to be vindicated, and that's all that he cares about." He added that Baldoni is "waiting for his day in court, where he can speak out to tell the truth." Their trial is set for May 2026.
Also in June 2025, Lively spoke out in a statement on Instagram, saying she felt "more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story."
"With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me, many of you I know. Many of you I don't. But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you," she wrote at the time.
