Kylie Kelce is addressing her recent wardrobe malfunction.
On the Thursday, July 23, episode of the Not Gonna Liepodcast, the former soccer player, 34, responded to commenters calling out what appeared to be a dry cleaning tag visible on the dress she wore while presenting at the ESPN Sports Humanitarian Awards.
“Yes, it was a dry cleaning tag,” Kylie said before explaining: “I wore this dress to give the commencement speech at my college. How many years ago was that? Three years ... So, I got it dry cleaned to freshen it up. But it’s two pieces. It’s a dress, and the belt comes off. Well, apparently, if things detach themselves from your articles of clothing at the dry cleaner, in an effort to not lose the pieces of your clothing, they tag everything.”
She added that because she’s so “Type B,” the tag wasn’t on her radar.
Kylie said that she discovered there was a tag attached to the belt while she was sitting at her table at the July 14 awards ceremony and put her hands on her lap.
“Now, to my credit, I got dressed in the backseat of a car, and it’s hard to see that when it’s in your lap,” she added.

The podcast host also pointed out that “a very kind person” in the comments attempted to come to her defense.

“I did see someone reply to this somewhere in comments say that they knew what the dress was and that at the end of the belt there was a little flower embellishment with a little thing on it and that that might be what they were seeing,” she said. “That was very kind. Yes, it did have a little flower at the end of the belt, and yes, that was a dry cleaning tag.”
Also during the episode, the mom of four wished her new sister-in-law Taylor Swift and brother-in-law Travis Kelce, both 36, congratulations on their recent wedding.

“I would like to say congratulations to Tay and Trav, it was magical,” she said. “I’m so happy for them, [and I] love them so, so dearly. It was only making it official because Taylor’s been family now for quite some time, so that’s that.”
“Anything else you can check in with Taylor and Travis about because any of the details they want to share, they can share,” Kylie continued. “Otherwise, it was intimate and incredible and full of love — both for each other and everybody else’s love for them.”
Travis and Taylor said “I do” at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.
Earlier this month, Kylie’s husband, Jason Kelce, shared that the couple’s daughters — Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley, 15 months — were “very happy” to play a special role in Travis and Taylor’s star-studded wedding.
