NBC has apologized after airing images from the wrong Tiger Woods car crash during its coverage of the golf star's latest DUI arrest following a vehicular incident in Florida.
During NBC's live coverage of a golf event in Texas on Saturday, announcer Dan Hicks addressed an earlier broadcast that reportedly saw the network display footage from Woods' 2021 car crash instead of the 50-year-old's collision last Friday that resulted in the golf pro's arrest and subsequent DUI charge.
"We want to take this time to make a correction. Before we came on the air today with our regular PGA Tour coverage.... our studio show inadvertently showed the incorrect picture of the car crash Tiger Woods was in," Hicks said in footage that was later clipped and circulated on social media.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office said that Woods attempted to pass a truck while traveling at "high speed." Sheriff John Budensiek called Woods "lethargic on scene" and alleged that the star showed "signs of impairment" in the moment, and allegedly refused to take a urinalysis test in jail after a reported breathalyzer test resulted in zero.****EW has reached out to a representative for Woods for comment.

President Donald Trump, the former father-in-law of the golfer's girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, said that he felt "so badly" for Woods, adding, "He's got some difficulty. There was an accident, and that's all I know. Very close friend of mine. He's an amazing person, amazing man. But some difficulty."
Woods' prior 2021 car crash resulted in the athlete's hospitalization in California. He also had a highly publicized collision with a tree near his home in 2009 and a DUI arrest in 2017 after police found him asleep at the wheel in his running car on Memorial Day. That October, he pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was ordered to complete 12 months of probation, 50 hours of community service, an online class, and completion of DUI school, in addition to paying a $250 fine.
