Orlando Bloom has revealed what he's looking for in a "partner" following his recent split from Katy Perry, who is now dating Justin Trudeau

In a street interview for TikTok account The People Gallery, Bloom revealed whether "style" or "funds" were more in important in a significant other

The actor, who split from Perry this summer after nearly nine years together, also shared his advice for people going through a "hard time"

Orlando Bloom knows what he's looking for when it comes to his partners.

After he and Katy Perry called off their engagement in June and confirmed their split in July, the Pirates of the Caribbean star revealed what he looks for in a significant other while chatting with the creator of street style TikTok account The People Gallery.

In a new TikTok video, the actor, 48, was asked if he would "rather have a partner with style or funds," and, with a laugh, he admitted that he would want "both."

Later in the clip, Bloom offered up advice for anyone going through a "hard time." His encouraging message: "Take action, get up, routine, do whatever. Get into your body, get out of your head if you're in your head. Keep creating."

The interview comes amid Perry's blossoming relationship with Justin Trudeau. The "Thinking of You" singer, 41, and the former Canadian prime minister, 53, sparked dating rumors over the summer, when they were spotted out together in Montreal, Canada. In October, they made their first public appearance as a couple when they attended a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris to mark the "Dark Horse" singer's birthday, according to TMZ.

The pop star made their romance Instagram official on Dec. 6, sharing a carousel that included videos and photos of the two on their trip to Japan, where Perry performed on her Lifetimes Tour.

Shortly after, a source told PEOPLE that Perry "wasn't looking to date when they first hung out and she certainly wasn't looking for a boyfriend," but their connection "turned into something real" thanks to Trudeau's persistence.

"He's shown her over and over again that he genuinely wants to see her," the source said. "He's flown all over the world to spend time with her while she toured. She likes spending time with him."

Meanwhile, Bloom broke his silence on his and Perry's separation in September. In conversation with Today's Craig Melvin about his movie, The Cut, Bloom, who shares 5-year-old daughter Daisy with Perry, said he was doing "great."

"We have the most beautiful daughter. You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie? I feel grateful for all of it."

"And we're great. We're going to be great. Nothing but love," he concluded.

Over the summer, a source said of Perry's stance, "Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando," adding, "He's the father of their daughter and that will always come first for her."
