Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. faced intense online trolling after he announced his move to TikTok. His update came right after the White House shared that Trump’s Cabinet members are officially joining the social media platform, as reported by Newsweek.
The White House posted a black-and-white picture on X showing Trump’s chair from behind during a crowded meeting. The caption read, “The memes. The hype. The patriotism. The Cabinet is on TikTok. New platform, same energy.”
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Makes Big Announcement
As Cabinet members started joining the platform, RFK Jr. jumped on the bandwagon with a dramatic video he posted to X. In the video, RFK Jr. wore a formal suit with his hands placed in front of him. The letters “HHS” (Human Health Services) were displayed across the screen. Suddenly, glowing red lights shot out from his eyes like a sci-fi character.
Captioning the post, he wrote, “Get ready, TikTok. MAHA is here.”
President Trump’s presence on TikTok has equally drawn plenty of public attention. Earlier this month, he raised eyebrows when he mispronounced the app’s name during a speech. Calling it “Tic Tac,” Trump said, “You know who the number one person on Tic Tac is by far? Trump. Me. Taylor Swift was number 11.”
RFK Jr. Trolled After TikTok Announcement
Right after he shared the video on X, social media users didn’t take time in making fun of RFK Jr.’s unusual video. Netizens flooded the comment sections with memes and jokes mocking his post.
One user commented, “Just when you thought they couldn’t ruin TikTok anymore than they already have…”
Another questioned his glowing red eyes depicted in the video, writing, “So youre portraying the devil now?”

A third user asked him to focus on work instead of social media, “How about concentrating on stopping foodborne illnesses and stop with the TikTok. All you’re doing is playing.”
One more user voiced distrust of the platform itself, saying, “Nope. No disrespect; however, I will never trust TikTok as I have China Derangement Syndrome (CDS) from the pandemic still.”
Moreover, one user praised him for his work but called his post ‘creepy’, writing, “Creepy post. Consider trading out for the birds you train. Think that is something all people would appreciate. Grateful for the work you are doing, Thank you for bringing Lyme truth forward and working on better testing and treatments.”
Slamming his policies as gimmicks, one critic wrote, “You’ve been here and nothing at all is better – in fact it’s worse than ever”
Questioning his decision to join TikTok amid the health crisis, one furious netizen wrote, “TikTok, really? Kennedy is a Klown. Who is working on this– “Cyclosporiasis Cases in the United States Hit Record High. Federal health officials have confirmed another 2,500 cases of the parasitic infection.”
“Did something just pass to allow Bill Gates to have MRNA sprayed on our fruits/vegetables? Are you still doing anything RFKJ, or has Trump silenced you too?” questioned another.
