Tiger Woods was arrested and charged with DUI after rollover car crash in Florida.

On Friday, March 27, according to a press conference held by Martin County Sheriff's Office, the collision occurred before 2 p.m. as a pressure cleaner truck was northbound on South Beach Road on Jupiter Island. The truck was pulling into a driveway, slowing down. The driver saw a Land Rover overtaking him at "high speed" and tried to edge off from the road, but was unable to get off the side of the road, police said.

The driver of the Land Rover was Woods, who was able to crawl out of the passenger's side door, the authorities added. The vehicle rolled over on the driver's side. Neither Woods or the driver of the other vehicle was injured.

The pro golfer was charged with two misdemeanors of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to lawful test. He is currently being held in Martin County Jail.

Earlier this week, Woods participated in the Tomorrow’s Golf League final on the Jupiter Links Golf Club team. They lost to the Los Angeles Golf Club.

This isn't the first car accident Woods has been involved in. In February 2021, Woods was in a "single vehicle roll-over traffic collision," per the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The car, a Genesis GV80 SUV, "sustained major damage."

The pro golfer showed no signs of impairment and suffered several injuries on his legs and underwent surgery following the Southern California crash. It took him 10 months to recover before he could return to the golf course, per CBS Sports.

In 2017, Woods was charged with DUI in Jupiter, Fla. after police found him asleep at the wheel of a parked vehicle. Painkillers, sleep drugs, and an ingredient active in marijuana were found in his blood, but no alcohol, according to a toxicology report cited by NBC News.

Woods checked himself into a clinic for prescription medication addiction and ultimately pleaded guilty to reckless driving; the prosecution dropped the DUI charge in exchange.**
