For over half a century, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has been bringing music lovers together to enjoy live tunes from some of the best and brightest artists in the biz, from Bob Dylan toBruce Springsteen to Aretha Franklin to Paul Simon and beyond. Now, the lineup for the 2026 concert has been announced...and fans couldn't be more excited about what's in store.

In an Instagram post on Thurs., Dec. 11, Jazz Fest shared an image on their Instagram page featuring the lineup for the 2026 festival, which runs from April 23 — May 3 at Fair Grounds Race Course. The headlining acts include some of the most beloved artists of the '70s: The Eagles, Stevie Nicks, and Rod Stewart, along with Kings of Leon, Lainey Wilson, Teddy Swims, Lorde, Jon Batiste, Tyler Childers, David Byrne, the Black Keys, and more.

This is a major deal for classic rock fans, considering the fact that Nicks has only appeared alongside the Eagles once before, according to the concert database Concert Archives. Nicks and Stewart, meanwhile, toured together in 2011.

As Ultimate Classic Rock reported, the fact that the Eagles are appearing at the festival at all is significant because the event will mark the first time they've played somewhere besides the Sphere in Las Vegas since 2024. The band's residency at the venue will end in March 2026.

Stewart will be taking a break from his farewell tour for the festival, which is the only show Nicks has scheduled for 2026 thus far. Byrne will be in the middle of his own world tour at the time.

The two-weekend event will also include appearances by RAYE, Nas, Alabama Shakes, Herbie Hancock, Mavis Staples, Irma Thomas, Bruce Hornsby, T-Pain, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, the Isley Brothers, Trombone Shorty, Jason Isbell, Irma Thomas, Nicholas Payton featuring Butcher Brown and many, many others.

Four-day passes will be available for purchase starting Dec. 12.
