Who has attempted the Indy 500 Coca-Cola 600 Double?
Successfully pulling off "Double Duty" is one of motorsports' most prestigious and elusive feats. Only Tony Stewart has driven all 1,100 miles of the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600, finishing sixth and third, respectively in 2001.
Katherine Legge hopes to follow suit. The British driver is starting 26th in Indy and 37th in Atlanta. She's the first woman and first Brit to attempt The Double, so plenty of history is on the line.
NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Larson has attempted The Double the last two years without much luck. Weather prevented him from starting the 2024 Coke 600 then he crashed out the race in Atlanta the following year. Larson has made it clear he's done trying, at least for now.
So, with Legge etching her name among some greats, here's a look at all the drivers who've attempted The Double and how they've fared.
